State Route 131 (SR 131) is a state highway in the U.S. state of California in Marin County. It is a short route that connects U.S. Route 101 with the town of Tiburon. Approximately the first half of the route is four-lane divided road, until it reaches the site of the old railroad trestle and Blackie's Pasture, after which it narrows to two lanes on Tiburon Peninsula heading into Tiburon.
The main sequence is a band which appears on plots of stellar color versus stellar luminosity, comprised of young and middle-aged, hydrogen-burning stars. These color-magnitude plots are known as Hertzsprung-Russell diagrams after their co-developers, Ejnar Hertzsprung and Henry Norris Russel. Stars on this band are known as main-sequence stars. Most stars in the universe are on the main sequence, and a typical star spends most of its life on the main sequence.
